At Playphone.om, we want you to enjoy peace of mind with every purchase. Our warranty policy covers qualifying products, ensuring reliability and support if something goes wrong.
1. Warranty for Pre-Owned Products
We provide a comprehensive warranty for eligible pre-owned products bought from Playphone.om in Oman. Please note that this warranty covers only the product itself and does not include complimentary accessories.
2. What’s Covered
Our warranty protects against:
•
Hardware issues
•
Manufacturing defects
•
Power-related problems (excluding power surges or electrical spikes)
We may repair or replace products using pre-owned or compatible parts that match the original performance. Internal components, which are not user-replaceable, are also covered.
The warranty starts from the purchase date and guarantees that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship during this period.
3.How Warranty Service Works
If your product develops a defect during the warranty period, Playphone.om may:
•
Repair the defect at no charge using replacement parts;
•
Exchange the product with another pre-owned product of similar value; or
•
Offer a full or partial refund based on depreciation rules.
Replaced parts or products become your property, while the returned items belong to Playphone.om. This warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original purchaser.
4. Warranty Duration and Service
The warranty covers defects for 12 months (1 year) from the purchase date. It does not extend if the product is repaired or replaced.
Warranty service is provided on a carry-in basis, meaning you are responsible for sending the product to our service center in Oman. Shipping or transportation costs are not covered.
5. What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
•
Normal wear and tear, including battery degradation
•
Damage from accidents, moisture, dust, sand, misuse, or neglect
•
Cosmetic damage or excessive force on screens
•
Malware, viruses, or software issues
•
Unauthorized software, modifications, or tampering with warranty stickers
