How many watts do you need?

A charger's rating is its maximum, not what your device will draw. A phone designed for 25W takes 25W from any charger above that, so buying a higher-rated adapter buys headroom rather than speed.

20W to 30W covers phones. 45W covers tablets. 65W and above covers laptops over USB-C. A multi-port charger is worth the small premium if you charge a phone and earbuds together.

The one place higher wattage is wasted is a device that cannot use it. The one place it matters is charging two things at once - a 30W charger split across two ports gives neither device 30W.

Buy a charger that is safe

A power adapter sits between mains voltage and a device you hold. A badly made one may not have proper isolation between the two, and cheap adapters are the common cause of damaged charging ports.

Buy from a maker you can name - Apple, Samsung, Anker - rather than an unbranded copy. The price difference is a few rial; the difference in what is inside is not.
