Chargers and cables: what to look for
A charger's wattage is its maximum, not what your device draws. 20W to 30W covers phones, 45W covers tablets, 65W and above covers laptops over USB-C. Check output per port rather than the total - a 67W three-port charger may give one device only 30W.
Cables that look identical differ by a factor of ten in what they carry. The three things that matter are the connectors on each end, the wattage rating, and the length. A 3ft cable suits a desk; a 6ft cable suits a bed or a sofa.
Anker's braided cables are worth the small premium. A cable almost always fails where it meets the connector, and braiding plus moulded strain relief is what prevents it.
